No accounts, no analytics, one third-party script on one page. What the server logs, and why.
no analytics script is loaded
the contact form script, on one page
your own choice, kept in your browser
There is no account here, no comment box and nothing to order. One page asks you for anything at all: the contact page carries a message form, and what it collects is set out below.
The form on the contact page
The form takes the name, the email address and the message you type into it, and nothing else — there is no hidden field, no profiling and no newsletter attached to it. It is there so a correction or an enquiry can be sent without opening a mail client, and that is the only purpose the data is used for. The basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us; sending the form is entirely your choice, and the same message can be sent by email instead.
The form is operated for us by fortunida.com, which receives what you submit, passes it to us and is the second recipient of that data alongside ourselves. Messages are kept only as long as the matter they are about is open, and deleted once it is closed. To have a message deleted sooner, or to ask what is held, write to [email protected] and say which message you mean.
What the server records
Like any web server, the one serving these pages writes an access log: the address requested, the time, the status code, the browser string and the network address the request came from. That log exists so the site can be kept working and abuse can be traced. It is not joined to anything else and it is not sold.
What is not here
- No advertising network, no retargeting pixel, no social tracker.
- No analytics script of any kind.
- No cookies beyond the one local note described on the cookie page, which never leaves your own browser.
- No fonts or images loaded from a third party: every file a page needs to render is served from this domain. The single exception is the message form on the contact page, whose script is loaded from fortunida.com and runs only on that page.
Links that leave the site
Where a page links to somewhere else, the other site has its own rules and this one has no say in them. Links placed on this site by arrangement are marked on the disclosure page.
Asking about your data
Since nothing identifying is stored, there is usually nothing to hand over or delete. If you think otherwise, write to [email protected] and say what you are asking about.
